We have created a simple tool to repair FRM3 modules that are fitted in bmw e9x and e7x and R5x models from 2007-2012.

One of the main reason’s we have decided to make this tool is that we do a lot of tech support for many specialist workshop’s and on many occasions the tech’s were working on e-series BMW and Minis and the frm3 module died while they were doing some diagnostic work.

This left the vehicle stranded and required the workshop to post the frm3 to us for repair leaving the customer without there vehicle for a few days.

Most of the workshops do not have the skills to solder or read and understand eeproms and micro processors.  

So we set about making a simple 1 click tool that will take all the stress away from having an FRM3 go faulty as the FRM3 Wizard will get the module back to an operating state within a few minutes and will require limited knowledge about soldering as we have added a simple clip to attach to the pcb and a very easy to use application that guides you through the repair process step by step.

When you use the FRM3 wizard the frm module will be returned to  original state and will be plug and play in most cases. As long as the data is recoverable within the module.

How it works is simple, you connect the device to the pc via usb and then to the pcb via the clip. Open the application on the desktop when it connects to the internet and our cloud it will check to see you have sufficient credits to be able to carry out an automatic repair.
